Mac Gayden produced the CD bringing together great back up players
such as Sam Bush on mandolin (formerly of the New Grass Revival and
now a great artist on his own), Dan Dugmore from Linda Ronstadt’s band
on pedal steel, Byron House (from Sam Bush’s band and Lucinda Williams)
on bass, Steve Latanation (of Josh Rouse and Matthew Ryan) on drums,
Scott Vestal on banjo, and Mac Gayden on guitars and slide guitar.
Mac brought the group into one of the best sounding rooms - Nashville Studio 19 (that Scotty Moore of Elvis’s band built). Many legendary performers recorded here, such as great Arthur Gunther and John R, Joe Simon albums. Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney also cut in this room. This studio has been time tested and has a great sound, and really proved to be an excellent room to bring out the talents of Sweetwater Rose.
